Welcome to SeattleTechWiki
The shared, community-owned wiki for the Seattle-area high-tech community.
To encourage and foster community, this wiki has a few rules that are different from many wikis (click each link to get additional details):
- Use your real name.
- You are encouraged to contribute any and all relevant information. There is no "notability" test.
- As its name implies, SeattleTechWiki is for the Seattle-area high-tech community. It is not a national site or a site for all things Seattle.
- External links are encouraged, when appropriate. Affiliate links are not allowed.
- Opinions are welcome and frequently encouraged, but must be noted and attributed.
- Advice is welcome and encouraged.
- Material you contribute is released under an Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike license.
- You should not copy from or to sites with incompatible licenses, such as Wikipedia, without appropriate permission.
- You retain the original copyright on anything you contribute.
- SeattleTechWiki is a resource, not a discussion list, a news site, a jobs site, or a calendar.
- You can (and should) promote yourself on your user page.
